Today, 31st March, is World Backup day! Have you backed up your data? All your documents? Photos of children? Holiday pics? Anything at all?

Your hard drive is failing now! Ok so its not actually stopping working right now but it is wearing out and fast. Inside your hard drive are small disks revolving at over 7000 times per minute, the edge of the disk is moving at over 74 miles per hour and the head is floating less than a hairs width off this disk!
These devices hold many, many bits of information. If we printed all the information out it could potentially fill a warehouse (depending on the content of the drive obviously).

So with all your important info flying round inside your computer what happens if it all stops?
Some people have some CDs with their docs on, but CDs are rotting all the time. A home burned CD will usually last around 3-5 years on average before errors become too much. Others may copy files over to another hard drive once in a while. But when was the last time that actually happened?

So with this in mind lets celebrate world backup day by backing up right now, and to follow lets sort our a decent, affordable backup strategy. Contact us now!
